Autumn Water Watch

This October Planet Patrol (a not for profit environmental group) are launching Autumn Water Watch, the first ever nationwide observational study of our freshwater environments.  The aim is to build a coherent, consistent and comprehensive picture of the state of our waterways in real-time.

They are asking people to visit a waterway over the three days of this weekend (14th, 15th and 16th of October 2022) and to spend a few minutes inputting data to their app (downloadable here).

The data will be analysed at Loughborough University to help determine what needs to be done to help improve the UK’s waterways.
